The Warwick Benevolent Society Inc welcomes the support of volunteers who share a wide and interesting range of skills and attributes with our residents and clients.

There are many benefits of volunteering:

  •     Contributing to the community
  •     Sharing and developing knowledge and skills


Volunteers have a valuable role to play in extending our care services and assisting employees in the provision of quality care services.


Volunteers assist in the provision of the following activities:  Gardening, cards, craft, religious services, games and quizzes, cooking, music, poetry, reading, story-telling, and 1:1 individual activities.


If you have some spare time during the week, you might consider spending some quality time with our residents.


If you wish to express an interest in volunteering please contact Administration who will put you in contact with the Diversional Therapists.

The majority of fees and charges relevant to the services provided by the Society are determined by the provisions and Principles of the Aged Care Act and administered by the Australian Government through the Department of Social Services.  There may be a meal co-payment relevant to Home Care services.

Full Fees and Charges details are available by contacting Administration

Residential Care:  
Basically a Resident Contribution (Daily Care Fee) equivalent to approximately 85% of the full single aged pension amount; plus possibly
An income tested fee; plus possibly
An accommodation payment – refundable accommodation deposit (RAD) or daily accommodation payment (DAP) (Please refer to the Accommodation Payments tab on this website)

Home Care:
Basically a Recipient Contribution equivalent to approximately 17.5% of the full single aged pension amount; plus possibly
An additional fee for people on higher incomes; plus if applicable
A daily Meal Co-payment if prepared meals are provided; less
A fee reduction if a client is able to demonstrate financial hardship (conditions apply)
